Zofran

  • Zofran is often used for those who may struggle with nausea and vomiting, as gastrointestinal symptoms can be quite common for individuals in our community.

  • Although this medication is often very helpful and effective for nausea and vomiting related to a number of underlying causes, it does not appear to be as helpful for individuals struggling with nausea related to motion sickness (Griddine et al., 2022).

  • It is important for providers to recognize the significant gastrointestinal symptoms individuals with these conditions, such as POTS and other forms of dysautonomia, may experience.
