Fitness Trackers
Fitness trackers to help with POTS can be very helpful for a number of reasons! Not only can they track your heart rate and allow you to share the data with your providers, but they also have the ability to detect falls and call 911, some are waterproof so you can wear them while in the shower. Some can allow you to text or call from your watch which can be very convenient if you experience a presyncopal episode, or other difficult symptoms and need help, but can’t get to your phone. All of these are specific to the Apple Watch Series 3 and above, but other fitness trackers can also be helpful such as the Garmin vivosmart 4. Both are listed within our Helpful Items section.
